Career Highlight

Sarah was living in California and started her business in the middle of the social media boom in 2006. She needed a mobile business that she could start with zero investment. In 2010, she brought her work to Switzerland but found that they were way behind in social media and weren’t using platforms like Facebook for business. So she had to pivot. Hear what she did to expand and why she chose LinkedIn to create success in her country.

When It Didn’t Work

Sarah was underselling herself and selling her time for money but to the wrong audience. She had a list but it was not the right people on the list. Find out how she changed that and built a more successful list that was in the right for her business.

Top Tips 3 You’re Leaving Money On The Table: How LinkedIn Can Change That

  1. LinkedIn is the platform for professionals….it’s a business platform and they’re there for business.
  2. The average income on LinkedIn is higher than on other social media platform. They have the money to pay for your services.
  3. The sales cycle is shorter on LinkedIn.
  4. LinkedIn Profile: make it talk to your target audience. Explain in the first person how you can help your ideal client.
  5. In the summary section talk about your current career.
