Marketing From The Inside Out: Shaping Your Brand For Success

  1. Three things are the epicenter of your brand: mission, values, vision
  2. Pay attention to the internal customer: anyone on the inside who shape the brand.
  3. Brand is the experience that your customers are having with your company.
  4. Mission:  one word: noun….eg: transformation.
  5. Values: no more than four. Keep it short so you can remember them. Make core values short, powerful, and actionable. Start with a verb. For instance, not just integrity and transparency. Three is ideal.
  6. Example:  Built to last. Sharing the good.
  7. Vision: your big dream. Where do you want to go?
  8. The next is a USP: what makes your company truly remarkable.
  9. Set 3-5 initiatives with a series of goals under them.
