Top Tips Social Media Marketing for Brick and Mortar businesses

Strategy: who is your number one customer. Where are they spending time online? Don’t invest in a platform where your customers aren’t spending time.

  1. Focus on reviews: Google and Facebook reviews are very important. Yelp doesn’t allow businesses to push customers to review.
  2. Claim and optimize your Google My Business page
  3. Answer and promote Facebook reviews
  4. Be careful about how you promote Yelp. Don’t try to ask for reviews.
  5. Create a selfie station in your business or store.
  6. Encourage people to check in when they’re in your store.
