- Relentlessly prepare for your interview.
- Don’t use a list of canned questions.
- It’s a permission slip to ask just about any question.
- The goal of an interview is to allow the interviewee express as much information as possible.
- If an interviewee doesn’t want to answer a question, it’s because the interviewee doesn’t trust the interviewer.
- Seek to gain trust.
- Find something special in the interviewee.
- Be curious. Be nosy and respectful.
