  1. Interviews are one of the most popular styles of podcasting.
  2. Relentlessly prepare for your interview.
  3. Don’t use a list of canned questions.
  4. It’s a permission slip to ask just about any question.
  5. The goal of an interview is to allow the interviewee express as much information as possible.
  6. If an interviewee doesn’t want to answer a question, it’s because the interviewee doesn’t trust the interviewer.
  7. Seek to gain trust.
  8. Find something special in the interviewee.
  9. Be curious. Be nosy and respectful.
  10. LISTEN!
