Top Tips Owning Your Online Reputation
- Your online reputation matters.
- Anyone can say anything online, anonymously.
- Everything we do online: what we post, email (even privately) or even if you’re tagged in a post.
- Have good stuff that reinforces your online reputation.
- Employees’ reputation
- Awareness. Do an audit of your communications. Check your social media content for things that are inappropriate. Make sure you look good now.
- Do a few things to make sure you have positive things out there. Have a domain name and personal website. Be on a few high-quality social media platforms.
- Try to de-index something that’s on the web or, at least, bury it by releasing positive content.
