How to Write Your Speech as Your Next Best-Selling Product

  1. Stop thinking about your speech as a speech. Your story is not enough to get you booked and paid as speaker. Instead package those stories, ideas, and experiences into a product the audience needs.
  2. Figure out how you want to get paid as a speaker.
  3. Discover your unfair speaking advantage – there’s a lot of speakers out there what makes you different from them.
  4. Develop one signature talk that you want to sell to events, organizations, and companies. Get focused on what you want to be known for.
  5. Give the audience a reason to listen to you because you’re different. Be audience-centered. Solve a problem.
