Think Like A Journalist Quote
“Social media is not just an activity; it is an investment of valuable time and resources. Surround yourself with people who not just support you and stay with you, but also inform your thinking about ways to WOW your online presence” –Sean Gardner (@2morrowknight)
If you’re not willing to risk it all then you don’t want it bad enough.
You have to be willing to give something up to get there.
John had a kidney transplant that caused him to start an online business so he could work from home. He used social media, in particular, Twitter to grow his blog. He built a business from scratch. His blog 40-50,000 people a month. Establish your blog. Affiliate products. Paid reviews. Consulting and building blogs.
When It Didn’t Work!
John had a really big client that was paying him a lot of money but that left little time for him to build his business. Find out what happened when it didn’t work and what John learned.
How To Soft-Sell Your Message On Social Media
- Write blog post not specifically about the product.
- If you deliver just advertising type posts then your visitors will always have their guard up when they read your posts.
- Teach them something in every post.
- No one will sell your sales pitch. A helpful blog post will get shares.
- Have a call-to-action on the blog post.
- People will buy from you because you’re consistently helpful.
- Use videos, infographics.
- Use the CEO to talk about the company.
- It’s easier to rank your video for keywords than blog posts.
